1. Warranty Coverage
QUUGE warrants to the original purchaser that an eligible QUUGE-branded hardware product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the applicable warranty period.
The warranty period is the period stated on the product page, marketplace listing, packaging, manual, or order documentation at the time of purchase. If no different period is stated, the default limited warranty period is 12 months from the date of purchase.
For clarity, the QUUGE Thunderbolt 5 docking station identified by Amazon ASIN B0H6PSPX3X is listed with a one-year limited warranty. Certain other QUUGE products may state an 18-month warranty; where expressly stated at the time of purchase, that longer period applies to that product.
This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not replace, statutory rights relating to defective or non-conforming goods.
2. Who and What Is Covered
This limited warranty applies to:
- genuine QUUGE-branded products purchased from quuge.net, an authorised QUUGE seller, or an authorised marketplace listing;
- the original purchaser, with valid proof of purchase; and
- defects arising during normal, intended use within the warranty period.
The warranty applies to the QUUGE hardware and the accessories originally supplied in the product package, subject to the coverage period and exclusions below.
3. What Is Not Covered
To the extent permitted by law, the limited warranty does not cover:
- normal wear and tear, cosmetic scratches, dents, discolouration, or ageing that does not affect normal operation;
- accidental damage, liquid damage, fire, excessive heat, impact, crushing, misuse, neglect, or improper storage;
- damage caused by unsupported, damaged, or unsuitable chargers, power adapters, cables, displays, peripherals, ports, or power sources;
- incorrect installation, operation outside published specifications, or failure to follow setup, safety, compatibility, or maintenance instructions;
- unauthorised repair, modification, disassembly, altered firmware, or removal or alteration of a serial number or label;
- problems caused by the host computer, operating system, drivers, third-party software, network, monitor, cable, storage device, memory card, or other non-QUUGE equipment;
- incompatibility where the connected device does not meet the product's published requirements, including USB-C video, Power Delivery, USB4, or Thunderbolt requirements;
- data loss, corrupted files, business interruption, or other consequential loss;
- products obtained from an unauthorised source, counterfeit products, or products without reasonable proof of purchase; or
- products outside the applicable warranty period.
Rechargeable batteries, if included in a product, may be subject to a shorter coverage period where stated on the relevant product page or documentation.
4. Making a Warranty Claim
To request warranty service, contact support@quuge.net or use the warranty form on quuge.net. Please provide:
- your name and contact details;
- proof of purchase showing the seller, order number, product, and purchase date;
- the product model and serial number, where available;
- a clear description of the issue and the troubleshooting already attempted; and
- photographs, video, diagnostic information, or other reasonable evidence requested by our support team.
Do not send a product to any address until QUUGE provides return instructions.
5. Troubleshooting and Verification
Before approving a warranty remedy, we may ask you to complete reasonable troubleshooting steps. These may include checking host-port capabilities, updating the computer's BIOS, operating system, Thunderbolt or USB drivers, using the supplied cable and power adapter, disconnecting peripherals, testing another compatible computer or display, or providing system information.
We may verify the order, serial number, warranty period, condition, and reported fault. Providing false, altered, or incomplete claim information may result in denial of the claim where permitted by law.
6. Warranty Remedies
If we confirm a covered defect, QUUGE may, at its option and subject to applicable law:
- provide technical support or a replacement accessory;
- repair the product;
- replace it with the same model;
- replace it with a new or refurbished product of equivalent function and value; or
- provide a refund or other remedy where repair or replacement is unavailable or required by law.
Replacement products or parts may be new or professionally refurbished and will be functionally equivalent to the original. A replacement assumes the remainder of the original warranty or 90 days from replacement, whichever is longer, unless local law requires a longer period.
7. Shipping for Warranty Service
Where a claim is confirmed as covered, QUUGE will provide instructions and, where applicable, a prepaid return method or reimbursement of reasonable authorised shipping costs. You are responsible for unauthorised, premium, or incorrectly addressed shipments.
Back up and remove any storage device, memory card, or personal data before sending a product. QUUGE products should not normally store personal data, but we are not responsible for data left on attached devices or media.
8. Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, this limited warranty is the exclusive voluntary manufacturer warranty provided by QUUGE for the product. QUUGE is not responsible under this warranty for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, including loss of data, revenue, profit, or use.
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
9. Marketplace Purchases
For an Amazon or other marketplace purchase, use the marketplace's order system for returns and refunds within its applicable return period. For a product defect arising after that return period but within the QUUGE warranty period, contact QUUGE support with the marketplace order number and proof of purchase.
